Last Fall Stephanie and I took a trip down to Colorado to see Mesa Verde, even though there was not much hiking it was still a gorgeous view of the ruins that the natives had built. Driving through many and stopping to see a few of them, and going on a little hike to see some petroglyph's. On the first day we actually just went out to four corners because neither of us had ever been in all four states at once. I was informed upon our arrival that it technically isn't four corners because the real four corners is on religious land that the natives didn't want to be destroyed, but I still count it that I touched all four states at once. The next day was designated to Mesa Verde where at the beginning I bought a National Parks pass because I pl
an to see much much more of these beautiful parks. When we entered the park it was amazazazing these tall mountains stretching into the sky like skyscrapers and we came during fall where the trees had begun to turn orange so it was a mix of orange green and some red. You have to go pretty deep into the park to see ruins and they usually are filled with tourist but still amazing to see these house built way back when and still standing today. We went through some museums to see what the natives used to hunt gather and build, and then stopped and looked at more ruins of ancient civilization. We saw most of what there was to offer in one day and alot of the hikes are paid for hikes were a tourists takes you through places but from what we saw it was pretty amazing. Also Walking tacos are amazing! Think there one of the best camping
dinners I've had in a long time. This is the first and hopefully not the last blog about the adventures I go on with people. I also realized that these are the photos taken with my camera and I forgot to steal Stephanie's from her so I'll probably post those in a slide show because she has the photos from four corners.
